London College of Management Studies

Until recently, (LCMS) offered an unaccredited in-house Diploma programme. ABP accreditation of the LCMS Diploma programme made an agreement possible with the University of Gloucestershire. Holders of the ABP accredited programme are now afforded 75 credit exemptions from the University of Gloucestershire MBA programme (180 credits).

"Obtaining ABP accreditation of the LCMS Diploma has enhanced the quality and credibility of the programme and the exciting new progression route facilitated by ABP has resulted in the programme becoming even more popular than ever!" Dr Datta, Vice Principal, LCMS

The Harriet Educational Group (Singapore)

The Harriet Educational Group is a leading further and higher education and training provider in the region. HEG recently obtained accreditation from ABP of some of its short, personal finance and management-related training programmes aimed at those already in employment.

"From an employer perspective, research suggests that helping staff to obtain a qualification as part of training makes them more marketable but does not increase the likelihood of them leaving the organisation. Linking training to a qualification that rewards the achievement of new skills will enhance the image of the organisation as a good employer, making it more likely that staff will stay. Furthermore, being able to offer a qualification as part of training creates a competitive edge when organisations recruit new staff." James Chua, MD, HEG
