ABP qualifications reflect the very latest industry or occupational standards. Our qualifications are assigned levels based on the nine levels of the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework.

ABP qualifications
ABP has developed a suite of standard qualifications available to any centre which meets our approval criteria. We intend to continue our programme of developing standard qualifications in a variety of subject areas and at a range of levels. On completion of any ABP qualification, learners will receive certificates issued by ABP and endorsed by ABE.

ABE units
All ABE units can be offered as single-unit qualifications, awarded by ABP. Should centres identify a local demand for single (ABE) units (rather than the full standard ABE qualifications), it is possible for approved centres to enter learners for the equivalent ABP examination. For further details of all ABE units, click here. The ABP examination sat by the learner will be identical to that sat by ABE students and should the learner then decide to pursue a full ABE qualification, ABE will consider granting an exemption. On completion of any ABP qualification, learners will receive a certificate issued by ABP and endorsed by ABE.
ABP centre-approval is automatic for those centres already approved by ABE. All other centres interested in obtaining approval from ABP should contact info@abp.org.uk. The procedure includes a review of the centre’s resources and may also include a centre visit by an ABP representative.
